One of the perks of my other life as an actor was creating lasting friendships with extraordinary, one of a kind, talent monsters likeKim McClay. Kim is a striking performer with a voice so pure and clear that even when she was singing "oh funky Christmas Tree" I knew she was destined for great things. Over the years she has been an exceptional songwriter with folk notes that echo through songs meant for summer drives, and cool evening breezes on the porch. You can imagine my delight when she asked me to help her put together some designs for her merchandise line to promote her new album "My Sanity" This is where we landed- design notes of the 1960's and 1970's in a sunflower palate that I aimed to mimic the strands of folk and carefree pop that are drawn through her album.
